Attorney Kristen Wolfram

Kristen Wolfram began representing clients in family law proceedings over 15 years ago after completing her first year of law school through Wayne State University’s Free Legal Aid Clinic. A compassionate and driven advocate, Kristen has built her practice around the needs of her clients and their children in pursuit of fair and equitable results. Her representation portfolio includes divorce, parenting time, third-party custody, and child support cases. Moreover, Kristen’s expertise also extends to protecting parental rights in CPS and termination proceedings, and has argued cases before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court.

Beyond the courtroom, Kristen is serving her first term on the State Bar of Michigan’s Family Law Section Council, is co-chair of the Domestic Violence committee, and participates on several other committees focused on family law issues. In 2022, she was selected for the Family Defense Leadership Forum. In 2023, she will work with two Justices of the Michigan Supreme Court and other distinguished leaders in child welfare advocacy on the Child Protective Legal Representation Task Force, which was formed in response to shortfalls in Michigan’s system of providing legal representation to children and parents involved in child protective proceedings is in crisis.

Kristen has presented at the Institute of Continued Legal Education, is an active member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, and has been selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine between 2018 and 2022.
